Global Procurement Category Manager- Middle East Africa Region (, SA)

Job Role:
The purpose of this job is to Lead Middle East AfricaPreforms category across PepsiCo Beverage & Food Operating Companies, managingthe total spend, through:
(1) Defining and executing "Other Goods & Services" category strategy, contract management and supplier relationship management.
(2) Measuring and Improving Performance.
(3) and Achieving Annual Plans and Delivering Productivity.

Job Accountabilities:

?In close collaboration with the Middle East Africa Global Procurement Indirect Lead, draft & implement "Other Goods & Services" category strategy, using systematic 7 step strategic sourcing approach.

? Participate and lead cross-functional category team, using RACI model.

? Manage category on a regional level and leverage from PepsiCo's scale in the region.

? Work closely with Sector & Global teams:

1. To develop category annual and long-term strategic sourcing targets

2. Plan and monitor category Productivity / Savings (for the current year and over Integrated Business Plan).

3. Lead continuous improvement initiatives from procurement side for the category.

4. Evaluate & evolve sourcing strategy based on changing market conditions and provide inputs during strategic sourcing activities, including internal and external analysis and negotiations.

5. Ensure implementation of sourcing strategy / plans, compliance monitored, and benefits tracked (in close collaboration with the Transactional Procurement Team) in line with the procurement policy & practices

? Closely liaise with main business stakeholders in beverage & food plants in region.

? Sell category strategy to business stakeholders; one focal point to represent "Other Goods & Services" category internally (peer level) and externally (suppliers)

? Ensure implementation of best-in-class sourcing tools, relevant to the category.

? Lead category negotiations and manage contracts with suppliers

? Track supply market, share evolving category trends, monitor supplier performance and share benchmarking against industry / market standards.

Skills and Qualifications:
? 5 years of Strategic Sourcing experience in FMCG.

? Indirect Materials Sourcing Experience.

? Experience in using advanced sourcing methodologies/ tools.

? Experience in a regional procurement function/ company.

? Experience of procurement/ strategic sourcing in the Middle East & Africa.

? Skilled in managing a dispersed team of business stakeholders in different countries; strong selling skills.

? Bachelor's degrees in Business or Engineering. Masters preferred.

? Multilingual and multinational experience preferred.
