Who knows? Healthy body might not be as arduous to come by as you imagine.

From your taskmaster of a boss to your hollywood-like romance, and your hectic social life to that to-do list that never gets fully ticked, we get that your life is busy! But don?t just spend all your time doing things for others. Make sure you take some time everyday for yourself. Paint, cook or just meditate ? just remember to make yourself a priority.

Ask yourself what is it that you need to pay attention to? What are you constantly eating that is toxic to your body? Is it a diet too high in LDL foods? Is it a toxic diet of fatty foods, sodas, foods with a lot of artificial this and artificial that? Your body was not designed to digest ?ARTIFICIAL?. Are you constantly having colds? Are you eating any fruits and vegetables? If not, you are not giving your body antioxidants or fiber to be healthy, to have healthy organs especially a healthy heart.

Aromatherapy has been a very popular holistic health topic for a long time. Many people will swear to you the benefits they have received from such therapies. The aroma of rosemary oil calming headaches, lavender oil adding to a relaxing sleep. There are many wonderful books and experts out there to help you get started.

The first and the foremost health tips for 2011 to stay young and healthy is to eat rich and healthy food high in proteins, vitamins and minerals. Your diet should consist of meals at least 2 times a day with proper supplements and nourishments. Apart from that, make sure to eat fresh fruits which are very necessary for the growth and development of the body. Include sufficient quantity of green vegetables in the meal. Have a proper combination of your main course, say chicken and fish on one side of the plate and vegetables on the other side.

Have something to live for, something that helps you to feel alive, vital and a part of something bigger than yourself. This could be a career, volunteer work, your spirituality, your creativity, absolutely anything. You could be active in sports, games, in your family, whatever it takes for you to feel needed, special and valuable.

Try eating more slowly. Taking time to savor a meal allows you to really taste and enjoy the food you?re eating, allowing you to eat less. And since it takes about 20 minutes to feel full after eating, the slower you do it the less you will end up eating.

Customer Service ? Secrets to Gain Repeat Business | Business44 ...

Keeping in touch with your existing customers is an important part of a successful business. Utilizing this technique is often overlooked and if you are not implementing it, you are losing money.

One of the keys to providing superior customer service is communication. If you do not already have a database of all of your existing customers, that is the first place you start.

After working for a property management company with over 500 clients, I was surprised to learn the boss never created a database. What a huge mistake!

You do not need a fancy program to stay in constant communication with your customers. If you do not have email addresses for your customers, but you do have physical mailing addresses, take advantage of providing excellent customer service by sending your customers a thank you note after they purchase your product or service. Microsoft Word and similar word processing programs have a feature that allows you to create a database with little knowledge of word processing programs. In MS Word, go to tools, then click on letters and mailings. This feature is easy to use and it is important for you to take the time to familiarize yourself with this or a similar mail merge program.

Most of your customers probably have an email address. That makes your desire to capitalize on repeat business easier. If you are using MS Outlook for your mail program, you can create a group to send out emails to a number of people at the same time. Take the time to learn how to use an email program that has the capability of sending out group emails.

Let?s take the email campaign one step further and talk about automated email services. If you are not already utilizing an automated email service, you need to seriously consider it. Why? Because you can create a list of your customers, write one email, and with a few clicks of the mouse, send an email to all of your customers. The beauty of an automated email program is an email can be automatically sent to your customers after they purchase your product or service. Are your competitors utilizing this automated feature? If not, you will stand apart from your competition. Another advantage of using an automated email program is when you have a new product or service ready to be released, you can send an email to your subscribers, offering them a discount if they purchase it early ? before it is released to the public. There is a lot of money to be made from your existing customers. If you are not implementing a constant contact system, you are losing money.

Remember, make the customer feel special. Stay in touch and you will reap the rewards.

EMIEW 2 robot connects to the internet, wants to google your stuff (video)

The adorable, metallic-haired EMIEW 2 has been given permission to go on the internet and it's going to use that privilege to find exactly where you left that stapler. First, the android uses its built-in camera to take a snapshot of objects and then queries the visual data online to recognise it. Then, as shown in Hitachi's recent demonstration, it teams up with an array of cameras dotted around a hypothetical office. These help the robot seek out specific objects and guide puny humans to what they need -- with some voice recognition thrown into the mix. Skeptical types can watch the robot find and destroy all that lost property right after the break.

Nolan Ryan says these Rangers are his best team

(AP) ? Texas Rangers president and CEO Nolan Ryan says the team assembling for this spring training "is as strong a club as we've ever been. "

At a packed news conference Wednesday, the Hall of Fame pitcher spoke of how impressed he is with the team's expensive addition from Japan, right-hander Yu Darvish, then talked of the addiction struggles of outfielder Josh Hamilton and his high expectations for this club.

Ryan based his optimism on the Rangers' talented young starting rotation and the nucleus of good players still in their prime.

The two-time defending AL champions signed Darvish to a six-year, $56 million contract after paying his Japanese club $51.7 million just to have the chance to acquire him.

"It's exciting that he has the following that he does and so many people are excited about it," Ryan said. "I walked through the airport and not many Americans know his name yet but they say, 'Boy, how about that Japanese pitcher y'all have?'"

One of the Japanese reporters asked Ryan to compare himself to Darvish at the same age.

"There's a substantial difference," he said. "I still had a control problem. I was very durable but I didn't have the feel for the baseball or my delivery as he does with his."

"That's one of the unique things about him is at 25 he's still a very young pitcher and he has a great delivery and control of his delivery and he has a good feel for his baseball. When I say that, I mean he can throw different pitches, he can locate his pitches and so I think for a 25-year-old that's quite an accomplishment," he said.

Still, Ryan said, Darvish will have to learn the hitters, adjust to a different ball, acclimate himself to a five-day rotation instead of the six days he had in Japan, and deal with life in a different culture.

"What you hope is he doesn't come into camp and feel like he has to try to do more than he can and more than what he is," Ryan said. "I think that's a tendency when contracts and situations come up. I'm sure Prince Fielder will be feeling that to some degree this year going into Detroit's camp. What your hope is he can relax and just focus on what he needs to do to get ready and not try to go out and prove his worth here in spring training."

Hamilton, the Rangers' standout who has dealt with addiction all his adult life, relapsed in early February, drinking into the night at a Texas bar.

Ryan said he has talked to Hamilton and says the former AL MVP is in great shape and anxious to get started in spring training. He is expected to arrive on Thursday.

"Obviously us who don't have an addiction don't truly understand the challenges that Josh has," Ryan said, "so we're concerned for him obviously and as organization we try to do anything we can to help in any way we can. But yes, it is a concern of ours as it is for everybody around Josh and associated with Josh, from his teammates to his family members, to people that just care about him.

"I think that probably is one of the things that Josh realizes after this last time is the support that he does have out here, and I think that's probably very comforting to him."

As for a long-term contract for Hamilton, that will have to wait.

"I can't go into that," Ryan said. "There's so many factors that come into play when you're talking about long-term contracts. It doesn't matter who it is. At this point in time, I think everybody kind of just decided that we'd just let things kind of settle down before we went anywhere."

The Rangers are proceeding with a plan to move Hamilton to left with a competition this spring to find another center fielder.

"We feel like one of them will surface and basically be our everyday center fielder," Ryan said, "but it's a pretty good option if you've got to go back to Josh in center field."

Ryan said Darvish fits right in as a young pitcher with the Rangers' other talented youngsters ? Matt Harrison (14-9, 3.39 ERA), Derek Holland (16-5, 3.95), former closer Neftali Feliz and Alexi Ogando (13-8, 3.51).

"If you want to look at our ballclub and analyze our ballclub, the area that I think we have more upside than any other area is our pitching staff and mainly our starting staff," Ryan said, "because of the youth that we have in there. I don't think those guys have reached the level that I think they're capable of going to, and that includes Yu. Obviously he's in that same age group as the rest of those young starters. I think his better years are ahead of him."

Ryan hopes the Rangers' nucleus stays healthy.

"We have what I call established veterans on the ballclub that aren't at the end of their careers. They're at the peak of their careers," Ryan said. "You kind of go around the ballclub and you look at Josh and you look at Adrian (Beltre) and you look at Ian (Kinsler) and you look at Michael (Young) and Nelly (Nelson Cruz) and that's the nucleus of a ballclub that's not growing old yet."

Last season, the team won despite injuries to important players.

"If we can narrow the amount of time that those guys spend on the disabled list," Ryan said, 'then it even increases the opportunities that we have of being an even better ballclub. That's the way I look at it."

Immanuel Kant's Teaching | 1st about psychology. Directory of ...

Immanuel Kant knew that his students needed to learn to think for themselves and he reasoned that it was how philosophy was being communicated that induced students to learn critical thinking skills or to just mimic their professors. It was his desire to educate them to philosophize and not just memorize a philosophical system. He articulated the difference between a scholastic type of education and a cosmopolitan type of education. He argued: ?one must differentiate between two types of learning: there are minute sciences, which are useless for human beings, and formerly there were philosophers, whose whole science consisted in exceeding each other in ingeniousness, these were called Scholastici; their art was science for the university, but no enlightenment for everyday life could be acquired through this. He could be a great man, but only for the university, without giving the world some use for his knowledge? (Starke, Menschenkunde, p. 1). The scholastic style of teaching was fastidious, small-minded, and pedantic.

Students learning from scholastic teachers were begin educated to memorize philosophical concepts and regurgitate what they were learning. Kant held that this type of philosophy was founded in historical ways of knowing (cognitio ex datis) instead of begin founded in rational principles (cognitio ex principiis) since the system was already a historical fact. He used Christian Wolff as an example and argued: ?Wolff was a speculative?philosopher?he was actually not a philosopher at all, but rather a great artificer [Vernunftkuenstler], like many others still are, for the intellectual curiosity of human beings? (Philosophische Enzyklopaedie, Gesammelte Schriften, XXIX, 8). Immanuel Kant asserted: ?Anyone, therefore, who has learned (in the strict sense of the term) a system of philosophy, such as that of Wolff, although they may have all its principles, explanations, and proofs, together with the formal divisions of the whole body of doctrine, in their heads, and, so to speak, at their fingertips, have no more than a complete historical knowledge of the Wolffian philosophy? (Critique of Pure Reason, B 864).

Immanuel Kant observed that students learning in this way could cleverly use the concepts of the system but that their chatter was also ?blinder than any other self-conceit and as incurable as ignorance? (Nachricht, Gesammelte Schriften, II, 305). The students were merely committing the ideas and system to memory but were not thinking critically. They spoke eloquently, but were not able to use the ideas creatively and in new contexts. The students weren?t acquiring insights into philosophy but came off as learned [Gelehrt].

Thus, Kant believed he should teach students to philosophize and not just learn about philosophy (Nachricht, Gesammelte Schriften, II, 306). He believed the cure for this was his cosmopolitan philosophy. He introduced physical geography and anthropology as disciplines that were to educate students to methodical thinking. The physical geography lectures required that students examine nature using effective causality, while anthropology demanded that students make use of final causality. Effective causality is the type of causality we think of in the natural sciences, while final causality is what we find in the human sciences. Effective causality requires that the cause comes before the effect, however final causality has the cause come after the effect. For instance, a storm which comes first causes trees to fall, while wanting to sail a boat (the end) causes us to fell a tree in the second case. The sailing comes after the felling. Both kinds of causality are constructed by a nexus which can be methodologically articulated.

Kant was able to teach his students to reflect on their experience methodically through these two courses and hence he discouraged them from memorizing philosophy. Students could take what they were learning and apply it to new circumstances with exciting outcomes. They could find natural causes in nature and purposes in their lives. Both physical geography and anthropology lead students to meditate on the world or on other human beings and this makes imitation impossible. Hence Immanuel Kant valued critical thinking and he risked teaching it to his students at the Koenigsberg University. What to know more? Honest Cooking: British Pancakes For Fat Tuesday

Fat Tuesday is coming up -- and Ruby Moukli from Honest Cooking suggests you spend it like a Brit. Flippin' pancakes.

As you may have heard, February 21st is Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday or, as it's known here in Britain, Shrove Tuesday. No matter where in the world you celebrate it, or what you call it, it's traditionally a day when Christians clear the pantry of "heavy" foods in preparation for the austerity of Lent, that begins on Ash Wednesday. The preceding period of gluttony is often accompanied by heavy drinking and much merriment, as the holiday offers a chance for otherwise pious observers to "let it all hang out." In Brazil they eat Nega Maluca,?drink Caipirinhas and dance the samba in thongs for Carnaval.

In Venice, masked phantoms glide along the canals in gondolas, munching on frittelle?(or cenci). New Orleans, of course, is home to Mardi Gras parades and excesses. Party-goers there drink Hurricanes and bare their breasts (and other bits) in a bid to grab the best beads. And then there's Merry Olde England...

Here we have Pancake Day. Sure, it may pale in comparison to the wanton revelry enjoyed elsewhere, but it has a certain charm. Some wild and crazy villages even host pancake races, the oldest being in Olney, Buckinghamshire and dating from 1445. You line up, with a pancake in a frying pan, and run along as fast as you can while flipping the poor unsuspecting pancake repeatedly. You can watch last year's here. Yeah, Rio's got nothing on us.

Okay, so it's a bit, well, tame. I actually love Pancake Day because I had an English mother who stood at the stove every Shrove Tuesday and happily flipped pancakes for us. It was a treat we looked forward to and took full advantage of. It was always a sort of competition to see who would tire first -- she of flipping or we of eating. We never won. Except that we did -- because we got all the pancakes!

English pancakes are similar to the French cr?pe, and are traditionally sprinkled with caster sugar and a squeeze of lemon, then rolled. I still like them best this way, although I have tried several variations, including spreading them with Nutella or jam. Recently I stacked them up with a layer of lemon curd between each one and made a fancy feature of them. But today I'm giving you the old English classic.

English Pancakes (makes 6-8 large pancakes or 12 smaller ones)

  • For the pancakes:
  • 1 cup (120 g) plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp melted butter (or vegetable oil)
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 ? cups (425 ml) milk
  • For the topping:
  • About ? cup (60 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 lemons, quartered
  1. Mix flour, eggs, butter (or oil) and salt together, then slowly add the milk. (You might not need it all.) You're looking for a pouring consistency -- much runnier than American-style pancakes.
  2. Lightly grease a small, flat frying pan and place over medium-high heat. When it's too hot to hold your hand close to, pour about a ? cupful (75 ml) onto the pan.
  3. Immediately tilt the pan and turn it, so the batter spreads evenly across the surface. If it's too thick to spread, add milk to the mix and try again. (One of the cook's delights is eating up the first one or two pancakes, which are almost always a bit of a wreck).
  4. When you see the edges start to curl up, gently lift and flip with a spatula. Cook for a further five to 10 seconds on the other side, just long enough to brown, and remove to a plate. Re-grease the pan, if needed, and repeat until all of your batter is gone.
  5. Turn the pancake "ugly" side up. (The side with the spots as opposed to the gentle marbling. The marbled side is the one that first touched the pan -- the marbling is created by the swirling as you tilt the pan to cover it. The spotty side is the second side to be cooked -- the spots are where the bubbles hit the hot pan. This doesn't make any difference except aesthetically.) Sprinkle each pancake with about a teaspoon of sugar, then a squeeze of lemon juice. Gently roll it up, enjoy and get ready for the next one out of the pan!
  6. If, like me, you're not a morning person then you have two choices. Either designate someone else to be the Pancake Person on February 21st, or else make your pancakes the night before and refrigerate them (stack them up and wrap them in plastic wrap). They can be gently warmed in the oven in the morning or else nuked in the microwave (if you're normal and your weekday mornings are a mad rush).

LG busts out a trio of L-series phones in the run up to MWC

LG's gotten all excited and spilled even more beans ahead of MWC as to what offerings we'll see at the big Iberian shindig. The L-Series is a trio of phones we're already part-way familiar with, given that the budget L3 was leaked back in January. The L5 and L7 are aimed at the mid-range and premium ends of the market, running ICS and packing 4-inch and 4.3-inch displays respectively. Whilst there's no further detail about specs, we know that the L-series shares the same DNA as the Prada Phone 3, so we'd imagine that as a good benchmark. The PR boasts of "five aesthetic elements," all of which seem to emphasize that the phone's going to be quite thin. After the break we've got that brief statement in full and the nagging sense that there's no surprise forthcoming when LG takes to the stage next week.
