We recently?heard some good news for everyone working in the building industry, as well as all current and potential clients in need of millwork products here in Kansas City, MO. Seventy-six additional locales have now been added to the NAHB/First American Improving Markets Index. That brings the total of improving markets in the nation above 200.

To be included in the Index, a market must be increasing in size according to various parameters, such as home prices and employment for six months in a row. The housing markets currently listed hail from 44 states and the District of Columbia, and although the current number is just barely exceeding 200 at 201, improvements are expected to continue into the new year. This marks the fourth consecutive month of improvement according to the Index, and over half of the area housing markets in the nation are now listed as improving on the NAHB Index.
